2018 Castle Premier League fixtures out

The much awaited 2018 Castle Premier League fixtures have been released.

Reigning league champions FC Platinum kick start action away as they date ZPC Kariba while fellow platinum miners Ngezi host new boys, Herentals.

The tone has been set, that the league is finally commencing and Harare will host its first derby on Week One as Caps United take on Harare City who bought the How Mine franchise.

Dynamos will kick-start action with a potential thriller against Chicken Inn who recalled championship winning coach Joey Antipas.

Highlanders have a date with army side Black Rhinos while new boys Shurugwi’s Nichruit, face off with returning council side Mutare City and Yadah FC host Bulawayo Chiefs.

Football fans will have just three weeks of wait before they can witness the Armageddon of Zimbabwean football when Dynamos meet Highlanders in Week Four that has dished out this ‘Battle of Zimbabwe’ giving Dynamos the honours to host the first leg.

Week 7 of the Castle Premier League will see the famous Harare derby between Caps United and Dynamos.

An interesting all Bulawayo affair is also placed on Week Three when Bulawayo City hosts Bulawayo Chiefs.

However, football fans will have to patiently wait until Week 16 to witness the all platinum affair where Ngezi Platinum have been given the honours to host FC Platinum in the first leg.

The football crazy town of Zvishavane explodes on Week 15 when FC Platinum host Shabanie Mine in a derby that has always produced fireworks.

With the 2018 Castle Premier League fixture now out, the clock is also fast ticking for teams whose stadia were banned to fast track their renovations hoping they would finish before the season reaches a pulsating stage.
