Nelson Chamisa knocks at Khuphe’s Bulawayo house

MDC-T deputy president, Thokozani Khupe has reportedly agreed to meet her arch rival and party leader, Nelson Chamisa, to iron out their differences “for the betterment of the party” following an acrimonious fallout that threatened yet another split. Mayor behind MDC-T Byo violence granted bail

    MDC-T Bulawayo provincial chairman, Gift Banda was yesterday granted $200 bail, while his 11 alleged accomplices in the public violence that erupted at the party offices on Sunday, were granted $50 bail each when they appeared before the magistrate, Franklin Mkhwananzi. Banda, who is Bulawayo deputy mayor, and his accomplices, are being charged with contravening section 36 of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act Cap 9.23 (public violence), a charge they have denied.
